Judge Gale Adams visits our schoolThe first Law Day in this country was held on May 1, 1958.  Ever since then the President has officially proclaimed May 1 as Law Day.  In North Carolina our governor has proclaimed the first Friday in May as our state’s Law Day.  This year at Ferguson-Easley Elementary School we celebrated Law Day a little early on April 27th with Judge Gale M. Adams.  Judge Adams has served as a Superior Court judge since 2012.  She taught our fifth graders about the 14th Amendment.
