Fayetteville Police Department Representatives Take Time to Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday With Ferguson-Easley Elementary Students

Fayetteville Police representatives gather in the Ferguson-Easley Elementary School Media Center to get ready to celebrate Doctor Seuss' birthday.March the Second all around the world people are celebrating the birthday of a creative author. Dr. Seuss is his name. To help the 4th and 5th-grade students at Ferguson-Easley Elementary School celebrate, representatives from the Fayetteville Police Department visited classrooms. Captain Todd Joyce, Specialist I. Ortiz, Sergeant Stephen L. Jett, and Officers S. Kovalski, R. Hedrick and R. Gillam chose Dr. Seuss books to read to students. They also shared valuable information about “…the Places You’ll Go!” when you decide not to be a reliable citizen. They also answered countless questions that students posed about the Fayetteville Police.
